What is Expedia?

Expedia is a large online travel company through which travellers book hotels and stays.

What you gain when you connect it

Booked once, seen everywhere. Each room's calendar is given to the platform as a private feed, so it sees your bookings and closed rooms.
Its bookings in your calendar. The platform's calendar is read back: a new booking becomes a stay, a moved one is moved, a removed one is cancelled.
No double booking written. A booking that would overlap is not written; it is listed as a conflict for you to decide.
Safe when a feed is empty. An empty feed never cancels your stays, and you are told after three failed reads.
