E-Invoicing in Jordan and Saudi Arabia

Double Support is an approved e-invoicing provider — ZATCA in Saudi Arabia and the National Invoicing System in Jordan.

Both Jordan and Saudi Arabia now run national e-invoicing systems, and an invoice has to reach the tax authority's system in the form it expects. We connect the system you already invoice from to the one your country runs, so your team keeps working the way it works and the invoice arrives where it has to arrive.

Jordan: the National Invoicing System (نظام الفوترة الوطني)

Double Support is approved in Jordan's National Invoicing System. Jordan's Income and Sales Tax Department runs it, under the name JoFotara, for invoices issued in the Kingdom. An invoice is submitted to the system and comes back carrying what the system gives it, so the copy your customer receives is the copy the authority has.

We connect your invoicing to it:

  • From the system you already use. Your accounting or ERP system keeps issuing invoices; we build the connection underneath.
  • Submitted as they are issued, rather than re-entered afterwards on someone's second screen.
  • Kept with your records, so the invoice, the customer and the receivable stay one thing.

Saudi Arabia: ZATCA (الفاتورة الإلكترونية)

Double Support is an approved e-invoicing provider with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), the Saudi tax authority the requirement comes from. The technical requirements arrive in two phases:

  • Phase one, issuing: from 4 December 2021, invoices must be issued electronically.
  • Phase two, integration: from 1 January 2023, in successive waves, e-invoicing systems connect to the authority.

The requirements cover both standard tax invoices and simplified tax invoices. From phase one, each invoice carries a QR code holding its basic details; in phase two, the invoice carries additional information.

What you get, in either country

  • Everything connected. Invoicing linked across your resources, your branches and your management, so the whole organization works from one set of records.
  • Invoices followed through to payment. Every invoice issued is tracked and linked to its receivable until it is paid.
  • Fewer errors. Invoice data isn't re-typed by hand, which removes the calculation and entry mistakes that are hard to spot afterwards.
  • Invoices that validate. Each invoice is electronically signed and carries its unique identifier, so it can be verified.
  • One system across departments. The same records serve accounting, sales and management, instead of each keeping its own.

Who it's for

Businesses invoicing in Jordan, businesses invoicing in Saudi Arabia, and companies operating in both, who would rather connect the system they have than change how their finance team works.
