Zyntra Contracting, the contracting edition of Zyntra OS

Zyntra Contracting: contracting, billed from the bill of quantities

Zyntra Contracting runs a contractor's contracts from the bill of quantities to the last payment: variation orders, monthly progress bills, subcontractors, retention and cost against budget. It is built on Zyntra OS, so your projects, invoices, purchases, stock and accounts are part of the same system.

  1. The bill of quantities

A contract on the owner's own project, with its value, dates, consultant, retention and advance. Its bill of quantities by section, typed or imported from a CSV file, is fixed once the first progress bill exists; changes go through a variation order — added and omitted items, approved with who and when, and the contract value follows.

  2. Monthly progress bills

Previous, this period and to date for every line, less retention and advance recovery, plus VAT. A bill goes from draft to submitted to certified — the certified amount may differ — and becomes a Zyntra invoice, then paid. Print it as a PDF on your letterhead.

  3. Cost against budget

For each section of the bill of quantities, the cost from subcontractors, site stock, purchases, expenses and labour against its budget — amber when it nears the budget and red when it passes it.

  4. Reports

Billed against certified against paid, the retention held by owners and the retention kept from subcontractors, and the margin of each contract.

Made for contractors

Zyntra Contracting is Zyntra OS with its Contracting part switched on, in English and in Arabic:

  • The advance and the retention. The advance, and the retention released at handover, each raised as its own invoice.
  • Subcontractors on part of the bill of quantities at their own rates; their bills become vendor bills, less their retention.
  • Site stock issued from your warehouses to the project, counted in its cost.
  • Every figure is a setting each company keeps: retention, advance, VAT, billing period, budget colours, units and number prefixes.

Rights for every door

Each person sees what their work needs:

  • A site engineer measures the work done and never sees a rate or an amount
  • Certifying a bill and approving a variation order are rights of their own
  • Flowrica answers about a contract within your rights

What runs the company underneath

Zyntra Contracting sits on Zyntra OS, so the rest of the company is in the same system:

  • Projects and tasks, with each contract on the owner's project
  • Invoices, payments, purchases and stock
  • The full accounting, HR and payroll
  • Flowrica, built in
