What is GoCardless?
GoCardless Bank Account Data is GoCardless's service that reads bank accounts in Europe and the United Kingdom, with the account holder's consent.
What you gain when you connect it
- Your consent, at your bank. «Connect» opens the provider's own consent page; only the account with the same IBAN or number is connected.
- Each line once. Lines arrive every six hours and with «Sync now»; pending lines wait, and when the bank gives a balance the lines must add up to it.
- One bank account, one books account. A real account feeds only one account in your books.
- Told before consent ends. You are warned 14 days before the consent ends; disconnecting withdraws it at the provider.

How to switch it on
- Your administrator sets it up onceIn Setup, the bank feed keys of your own GoCardless account are entered once for every company.
- Connect the bank accountIn Accounting › Banking, choose the account's row, then «Bank feed», and give your bank your consent.
- Review the linesThe lines wait in Banking to be matched by a person.
