Point of sale
Zyntra OS + Receipt printers and cash drawers
An ESC/POS receipt printer prints the till's receipts — by USB, serial or the network — and its cash drawer opens on a cash sale.
What is Receipt printers and cash drawers?
ESC/POS is the command language most receipt printers understand; the cash drawer plugs into the printer and opens when the printer tells it to.
What you gain when you connect it
- Three ways to print. By USB or serial from Chrome or Edge, or through a small print helper on the till computer to a network printer.
- Your receipt, your roll. 80 or 58 mm, your logo on top, cut at the end; an Arabic receipt prints as it looks.
- The drawer opens on a cash sale. Only in that sale's open shift; opening it without a sale needs its own right.
- Every opening written down. Who opened the drawer, when, and for which sale shows in the shift.
