What is GitLab?

GitLab is a place for software teams to keep their code and review it in merge requests, in the cloud or on their own server.

What you gain when you connect it

  • Code on the task. A commit or pull request that names the task (for example T-123) is linked to it, in its own company only.
  • Checks you can see. The pull request's later state and its checks update the link on the task.
  • Closed when merged. If you choose, a merged pull request closes its task.
  • Checked notices. Each notice must carry the host's own signature.

Who it suits

Software teams that plan their work in Zyntra Projects and keep their code with a Git host.

How to switch it on

  1. Open Setup › Channels › Code and issuesAn administrator who may change settings opens it in Zyntra OS.
  2. Enter your own accountEnter your GitLab account, a personal access token, the webhook secret and, for your own server, its address — from your own account with the provider. Secret keys are kept sealed and never shown again.
  3. Try it in test modeIt starts in test mode: you try it, and nothing real is sent, charged or recorded.
  4. Switch it onTurn test mode off and switch it on — from then on it works by itself.

Every connection is free

We take no setup fee for anything our customers need that improves their work: enter your own account and key, and it works. You pay your subscription to the service provider only, not to us; the connection with Zyntra is free.
