Garage

Zyntra Garage

For car repair, body and paint, and paint protection film (PPF) workshops: every car in the workshop with what it came in for, the stage it is at, who works on it and the day it was promised. It is for the workshop's own staff; there is no customer portal.

Garage Jobs — View, or Garage Jobs — View own for a technician who sees only the jobs given to them.

Switch it on

The super administrator opens Setup › Modules and presses Switch on on the Garage row. It is an edition: only one edition can be on, so switch another one off first.

The product is then called Zyntra Garage and the Garage group comes into the side menu.

The kinds of job and their stages are ready: Mechanical, Body & paint, PPF and Detailing and other. In Garage › Settings add your bays and paint booth, your film rolls and your insurance companies when you need them (see Garage settings).

The jobs

Every car in the workshop: Job, Car, Customer, Kind of job, Stage, Technician, Opened and Promised. A job past its promised day carries a red Late. The chips switch between In the workshop, Finished and All; search by job, plate, VIN, customer or phone, or narrow by kind of job.

Press New job.

Under Car find the car by plate, VIN or owner. A car not seen before is added first in Cars.

Choose the Kind of job, the day it is Promised for and the Technician, and write What the customer asks for.

Press Open the job. The job gets its number (GJ-00001 and on) and starts at the first stage of its kind.

The board

Every car on the stage it is at, for one kind of job. A red card is past its promised day. Open a card to move it. Under the stages, Bays and paint booth shows each bay as Free or Booked.

Garage Reports — View · Garage Settings — EditThe reports; the settings.

The top role holds all of them except View own.

Which cars came in today?

On a job or a car she answers from that record, within your rights: a technician hears only about their own jobs and never about money. She never gives out a phone, a signature or a file, and she makes nothing herself.
