What is IMAP mailboxes?
IMAP is the standard way programs read a mailbox on any mail server, without taking the mail away from it.
What you gain when you connect it
- Sales mail becomes leads. A mail to your sales box becomes a lead, with its status and source.
- Support mail becomes tickets. A mail to your support box opens a ticket, or joins the ticket it answers.
- Once, and untouched. Each mail becomes exactly one thing, once; nothing is sent, deleted, moved or flagged on your server.
- Your own interval. Each mailbox is read on the interval you choose.

How to switch it on
- Open Setup › Leads › Email IntegrationAn administrator who may change settings opens it in Zyntra OS.
- Enter your own accountAdd the mailbox: its IMAP server, login, password, encryption and folder, what it is for, and how often it is read — from your own account with the provider. Secret keys are kept sealed and never shown again.
- Switch it onSwitch it on, and from then on it works by itself.

We take no setup fee for anything our customers need that improves their work: enter your own account and key, and it works. You pay your subscription to the service provider only, not to us; the connection with Zyntra is free.
