What is ADEK?
ADEK, Abu Dhabi's Department of Education and Knowledge, licenses the emirate's private schools; its policy asks them to keep their students' data on its eSIS.
What you gain when you connect it
- The ministry's own columns. Admissions, withdrawals, daily attendance totals and promotion, each student by his Emirates ID, with the parent's contact.
- The check before the file. Every student missing a field the ministry needs is listed by name, with the link that opens his file to fix it.
- Four files from the school's records. Enrolments, leavers, attendance totals and the year's results (approved marks only), for a year, a term and a grade, as Excel or CSV with English or Arabic headers.
- The Emirates ID is kept as 784-YYYY-NNNNNNN-N. It is checked when it is typed, with or without dashes.
- Nothing is sent, every file is kept. The school uploads the file on the ministry's portal itself; Zyntra keeps who made each file, when, and how many students it held. Only who holds «Export» makes one.

How to switch it on
- Open School › Ministry exports › ConnectionsWho holds «Set up the ministries» switches the ministry on and types the school's number at the ministry.
- Check the studentsChoose what, the year, the term and the grade, and fix every student the check lists.
- Make the file and upload itDownload the file and upload it on eSIS with the school's own account. Compare its columns with the sheet your account gives you before the first upload.
Every connection is free
It is built into Zyntra OS and costs nothing extra; it needs no account of your own.
