How it is counted
Article 51 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 gives 21 days' basic wage for each of the first five years of service and 30 days' basic wage for each year after.
Nothing is owed under one year of service; part of a year counts for its share; the gratuity is never more than two years' wage, and a resignation does not reduce it.
A day's wage is the monthly basic wage divided by 30, and the service is counted in days divided by 365. This is how Zyntra OS payroll works out an end-of-service settlement.
End of service, counted on every payslip
Zyntra OS payroll sets the end-of-service award aside each month and works out the settlement on the day a person leaves, by the law your company chose.
