Shipments and deliveries

Locker packages, shipments, pickups and consolidations are one document with a kind: they share one record, one form and one list.

The list

The four rows of the menu open the same list, each on its own kind. The chips above the list switch between them and count each one: All kinds, Locker Package, Shipping, Pickup and Consolidation.

The list shows Tracking, Kind, Date, Customer, Destination, Status, Driver and Total Cost. A document with no price says Not priced, and why. Search a number, a tracking number or a customer, or narrow the list by status, customer, driver and dates. Export and Columns are above the list; Show archived brings back what was put away. On a row: Open and Archive.

Make a document

1
Press the main button. On a kind it carries the kind’s name, for example + Shipping; on All kinds it is + New document.
2
The form goes in steps: Sender, Recipient, Shipping and Rate & Taxes. First check the Kind (it decides which fields the form shows) and choose the Sender / Customer, the Office of origin and the Agency. You can drop the shipping papers on the box at the top, or press Upload from your phone.
3
Under Recipient choose who it goes to. A recipient belongs to the customer who sends to them. A locker package has none: it waits in a locker for its owner.
4
Under Shipping choose the Logistic service, the Type of package, the Courier company, the Service mode, the Delivery time and the Currency.
5
Under Rate & Taxes type the Weight (kg). The rate card is looked up by weight and destination; leave Price / kg empty and the rate card decides. Press Save.
The New Shipping form

A consolidation has two more steps, Contains and Stamps. Under Contains choose What it consolidates and The documents it holds: at least two, of one kind and one currency. Saving moves them to Consolidated.
