What CRM means
CRM stands for customer relationship management. In practice it is the list of people and companies you sell to, with the history of every contact and every offer, and a clear view of what each salesperson should do today.
From lead to customer
- Lead: someone shows interest — a form on your website, an email, an ad or a call.
- Deal: the lead is worth pursuing, so it becomes a deal with a value and a stage on a board.
- Offer: a proposal or a quotation is sent and followed up.
- Won: the customer accepts; an order or an invoice follows.
A CRM shows where every deal stands, so nothing is forgotten between the first call and the signature.
What a good CRM keeps
- Customers and their contacts, with every call, email and meeting.
- Where each lead came from, so you know which channel works.
- Follow-up reminders, so no promise is forgotten.
- Offers and their status: sent, opened, accepted or expired.
What to look for
- Leads arrive by themselves from your website and mailboxes, without copying.
- A won deal turns into an order, a project or an invoice without retyping.
- Each salesperson sees their own customers; a manager sees the team's.
- It works in Arabic and English, for your customers and for your staff.
