Subjects and teachers

Each grade's subjects, and for the year chosen the teacher of every subject in each section — the person who enters its marks there and teaches it in the timetable — and the school's bell times.

Who

Whoever views grades and sections, or the school timetable, reads it; adding, changing and deleting a subject, and choosing its teacher, follow the grades and sections rights; the bell times follow the timetable's rights.

Choose the Grade and the Academic year at the top. First, the grade's subjects: type a name, its Arabic name, a Code, how many Periods a week the timetable places of it and its Colour (each lesson is drawn in it) in place, or Put away one the grade no longer studies. Under them, Teachers in each section: a line per subject, a column per section of the grade.

Add a subject and choose its teachers

Choose the grade, type the subject in the empty last line (English, Arabic, code) and press Add the subject.

Under Teachers in each section, choose the subject's teacher in each section from the staff. It is saved as soon as it is chosen.

Give the teacher the right to enter marks for their own sections (Staff › the person's rights), so the subject reaches them in Marks.

The bell times

Under them, Bell times is the school day from the first bell to the last: each Period with the time it Starts and Ends, and each Break. Type a line in the empty last row and press Add the period. Two periods never overlap, and a break holds no lesson.

Only the teacher chosen here enters that subject's marks in that section — nobody else, whatever rights they hold — and is the one a lesson of it takes in the Timetable. A subject that has an assessment plan, or is in a timetable, is put away, never deleted. The school week (Sunday to Thursday unless the school sets other days) and how attendance is taken are set in Setup › Settings › School.
