Zyntra SchoolFor schools: the academic years and their terms, the grades and each year's sections, every student's file with its guardians and family, and admissions from the application to the enrolment, and a portal where guardians follow their children and students read their own page.
- Academic yearsEach academic year with its terms. One year is the current one: the lists and the overview read it first.
- Grades and sectionsThe school's grades, and each academic year's sections with their capacity, room and homeroom teacher.
- StudentsEvery student's file. Search by name, number or national ID; filter by status, grade and section of the year.
- GuardiansEvery parent or guardian, with their children at the school. A family is one customer; its guardians are its contacts.
- Portal accessWho the school opens its portal to. A guardian switched on sees their children in the client portal; a student signs in to their own page while their grade lets students in.
- AnnouncementsNews for the families and students: to the whole school, one grade or one section. A draft is kept until it is published.
- The parent and student portalWhat a guardian and a student see once the school opens its portal to them — a short help page to share with the families.
- Online applicationThe school's own application page: a family (or, at a university, the applicant) applies, sends the documents the school asks for and pays the application fee. Each application lands in Admissions, marked «Applied online», and goes on through the same steps: the interview, the decision, the enrolment.
- AdmissionsEvery application: the interview or test, the decision, then the enrolment into a section.
- Fees — items, schedule and rulesWhat the school charges: its fee items, the amount of each fee for each grade in the year, and the school's own rules for discounts, installments and withdrawals.
- Bill the year, discounts and withdrawalsOne invoice a child a year, to the family, with the school's installments; the brothers-and-sisters discount and each student's own discounts; a withdrawn child's unused fees credited.
- Re-enrolmentNext year's places for this year's students: the family asks from the portal, pays the seat deposit, and the deposit is taken off next year's bill. A full grade puts the child on a waiting list, first asked, first given.
- Activities and clubsThe year's clubs, sports, arts and trips: each with its supervisor, days and hours, seats and waiting list, the grades (or a university's majors) that may join, a fee billed once a term, and a form the family signs first when it asks one. Families register from the portal; the supervisor takes attendance at each meeting.
- Forms and consentTrip, photo and medical consent, and surveys: the school builds a form with its own questions, sends it to a section, a grade, an activity's members or chosen children, and the family answers and signs it in the parent portal. A form may carry a fee (a trip), billed when the family agrees. The results say who signed, who did not, and what each answered.
- Subjects and teachersEach grade's subjects, and for the year chosen the teacher of every subject in each section — the person who enters its marks there and teaches it in the timetable — and the school's bell times.
- TimetableEach section's week: the subject, teacher and room of every period. A teacher is never placed in two sections at once, and a room never holds two.
- AttendanceEach section's attendance for the day (or for each period): everybody present first, then the few who are absent, late or excused, with a note.
- Attendance reportsA student's attendance this year, a section's day period by period, and the students below the school's line.
- Assessment plansEach term, how a subject's mark is made: its components with their weights making 100, the mark each is out of, and the pass mark. And the school's scale.
- MarksThe term's mark sheets, one per section and subject. A teacher enters his own; a coordinator approves; only a released sheet is shown to the parents.
- HomeworkThe teacher sets homework for the sections he teaches, the students hand it in through their portal, and the teacher marks it and returns it — the families see the mark once it is returned.
- Homework reportsWhere homework is coming back and where it is not: each section's hand-in rate, a student's missing homework, and each teacher's homework load.
- MessagesA guardian writes to the teachers of their child, and a student to their own teachers, from the portal; the teacher reads and answers here. The school decides whether messages are on, when they reach the teachers, and who reads them to keep students safe.
- Online examsQuizzes and exams the students sit in their portal: built from the question bank, open in their window, timed by the school's server, marked by their key at once and by the teacher for written answers — and counted in the mark sheet as drafts.
- Results and report cardsA section's term or whole year: each subject's total, the average, the rank and the result. The report card in English or Arabic, one student or the whole section.
- Message reportsWhich questions from families and students are waiting, and how each teacher keeps up. The reports count; they never open a message.
- Question bankThe questions online exams are built from, kept by subject (or by course, at a university): written once, used on many exams, shared with the whole school when they are good.
- Mark reportsRead from every entered mark, each sheet's step beside it, so a student falling behind is seen during the term.
- Buses and routesThe school's buses, each year's routes — morning or afternoon, their stops in order with their times — and the students who ride each route from their stop. A bus never takes more students than its seats.
- Bus boardingThe bus supervisor marks, on their phone, who got on the bus at each run: everybody boarded first, then the one or two who did not.
- Bus listsWho rides each route and stop, how full each bus is, and a driver's run sheet — each one ready to print.
- LibraryThe school library's catalogue: every book with its ISBN, subject, language and shelf, and each copy with its own barcode and state — on the shelf, lent, lost or damaged.
- Lending deskLend a copy to a student or a member of staff, take it back, renew it or mark it lost; the books overdue, the copies held for students, and the fines and lost books billed to the family.
- Library reportsWhat the library lends most, what is overdue now, which copies were lost or damaged, and each borrower's whole history.
- Canteen counterSell at the school canteen from each student's wallet: find the student, check what his family allows, tap what he takes and press Sell.
- Canteen walletsEach student's canteen wallet — its balance, today's spend, the family's limit and bans — and the money taken at the desk, refunded or moved to a brother or sister. Also what the canteen sells and its settings.
- Canteen reportsWhat the canteen sold by day and by item, what the school holds for the families now, and the students below a balance.
- Health and nurseEach student's health file — allergies, chronic conditions, regular medicines, vaccinations, the blood type and the doctor — the visits to the school nurse, the families' requests to change the file, and a red warning of a severe allergy wherever staff need it.
- Health reportsWhich vaccinations are due and which are late, the students with a severe allergy section by section, and how many children came to the nurse in a period — each one ready to print.
- BehaviourA teacher's positive and negative notes on the students of his own sections, each with a category from the school's list and its points, and every student's behaviour in one place — the notes, the steps of the school's ladder and the meetings with the family.
- Incidents, steps and meetingsThe serious cases: who was involved and who saw it, the actions taken, the steps of the school's own ladder — a verbal warning, a written warning, the guardian called in, a suspension — each with who decided it and why, and the meetings with the family.
- Behaviour reportsThe points of each student and each section, the incidents of each category month by month, and the students who reached a step of the ladder.
- Learning platformsLink the school to Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams for Education and Moodle: a course for each section and subject you pick, with its teacher and students; the homework set in Zyntra goes out as an assignment, and the hand-ins and grades come back to it.
- CertificatesThe official transcript and the school's certificates — enrolment, good conduct, transfer and completion — made from the school's own records, each with its serial, the school's stamp, the signature and a QR code that anyone can check. A paper is never changed after it is issued: a wrong one is withdrawn and a new one issued.
- Certificate templates and settingsThe words of each kind of paper, in English and in Arabic, and what every paper carries: who signs it, the school's stamp, the serial's prefix, and the fee of each kind.
- Certificate reportsThe papers issued in a year, each kind month by month, and the papers withdrawn with who withdrew them and why.
- Hijri datesA school that works in the Hijri (Umm al-Qura) calendar reads and types every school day in Hijri, or in both calendars. The day is always kept in Gregorian, so nothing already recorded moves.
- Ministry exportsThe files your ministry of education takes — enrolments, leavers, attendance totals and year results — in the ministry's own columns, made from the school's records. You upload each file on the ministry's portal yourself: nothing is sent from Zyntra.
- Ministry connectionsFive connections, one for each regulator a school reports its students to: Jordan's OpenEMIS, Saudi Arabia's Noor, ADEK in Abu Dhabi, KHDA in Dubai and the UAE Ministry of Education's eSIS. Each is off until it is switched on.
